ALPINE TROOPS MUSEUM

Bassano del Grappa

The Museum of the Alpine Troops offers an interesting cultural opportunity to rediscover and retrace the threads of memory; the Alpine Troops bring with them a heritage of history, values and sentiments, which is deeply shared by all the Italian people. A culture that finds an important point of reference in the city of Bassano del Grappa, which has always been linked to the history of this military corps; the museum dedicated to them is a must for anyone passing by the famous Palladian bridge, the "Ponte Vecchio". The museum illustrates and deepens, through the objects on display, punctual historical references and the precious research and recovery activity carried out by the members of the A.N.A. (National Alpine Regiment Veterans Association) Monte Grappa section. An interactive audio guide in three languages (Italian-English-German) lasting 45' is available to visitors, provided by the bar staff and included in the ticket.
